Starting in Sept. extensive construction work will take place in the Duisburg and Essen area. There will be service restrictions on numerous lines. However, RE 100 will connect Essen and Düsseldorf.
From August 21 through December 4, there will be service restrictions on lines RE 1 (RRX), RE 5 (RRX), S 6, S 11, and S 68. Click here for more information!
There will be schedule changes on lines RE 4 (RRX), RE 10, RE 13, RB 39, S 28, and S 68 from September 4 through October 2. Depending on the route, some trains will be canceled or replaced by buses.
